Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s the longest-running of Indian Television has stopped its shooting for a few days and this is because three members of the star cast, Swati Chitnis, Sachin Tyagi and Samir Onkar have been detected with Coronavirus. Media reports specified that Sachin Tyagi was diagnosed with Coronavirus and post which the whole actors and staff had undergone tests. Producer Rajan Shahi has confirmed that Samir Onkar and Swati Chittnis have also tested positive for COVID-19.
Actors Swati Chitnis, Sachin Tyagi, Samir Onkar, who are an essential part of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, and they have tested positive for COVID-19, but all of them are asymptomatic. Due to safety motive, they are in-home quarantine. Instantly, the entire on-crew team was isolated and tested and four crew members have now tested positive. Currently, all of them are receiving medical attention in-home quarantine
Sachin Tyagi, who plays Manish Goenka, said, “I have tested positive for COVID-19. In spite of all the precautions that we took, it has happened. Now I have to accept it and hope for the best. Swati Chittnis also states simliarly on, “I would like to clarify that I have tested positive with covid19. Luckily, I am asymptomatic and doing well, recovering fast. I have been monitoring my health from time to time. Hopefully, I will bounce back soon.
