Despite of ban, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan may come to India to promote ‘Raees’?

After months of speculations, the trailer of Raees has been released and it proves that Mahira Khan is still Shah Rukh Khan’s leading lady in Raees.

But, the ban on Pakistani artistes, Raees is unfortunately gonna be Mahira’s first and the last film in India.  In fact, Raees too received a go-ahead from the government only because it was shot way before the Uri attacks that paved way to the whole fuss surrounding the Indo-Pak tension.

However, despite that, Raees producer Rahul Dholakia seems to be unfazed for he just confirmed getting Mahira back in India for the Raees promotions.

During the trailer launch of Raees this afternoon, Rahul firmly spoke about Mahira saying,”If we find it necessary to bring her here and involve her in the promotions, of course, she will come. I don’t think there is any restriction for her from the government. Aisa nahi hai ki they stopped issuing visas to anybody to come from there. So I think as and when we will decide to involve her, we’ll get her to come.”

Directed by Rahul Dholakia and co-produced by Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies, the film is scheduled to release on 25th January 2017.
