Birthday Special: Top 10 Interesting Facts About Hrithik Roshan’s Life

Bollywood’s poster boy Hrithik Roshan turns 43 today! Born on 10 January 1974 in Mumbai to a Punjabi family, Hrithik made his acting debut when he was merely six years of age, in 1980, when he was cast as an extra in a dance sequence for the movie ‘Aasha’.

He bunked his school a lot

At the age of six he was traumatized because of stammering, a speech disorder.During an interview he revealed that “For oral tests at school, I used to bunk school, I used to fall sick, I used to break my hand, I used to get a sprain”. He said that things improved for him gradually, after he started practicing speech therapies on a daily basis. He was treated at age 14.

He lived always in Pain

At the age of 21, he was diagnosed with scoliosis, a curvature of the back. Doctors had told him that he’d never be able to dance or perform action scenes. Half a decade later, when “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai” released, he was hailed as the best dancer, actor and action hero of the country!!

Salman Khan has trained him

Hrithik has got all his training under the supervision of superstar Salman Khan for his debut movie. The dance and body you find in the Hrithik was Salman’s gift to the green eye superstar. He also took acting, singing, dancing, fencing and riding lessons for years in addition to working on his diction.

Worked for daddy Rakesh Roshan

The actor assisted his dad Rakesh Roshan on films like “Karan Arjun” and “Koyla”. And considers “King Uncle” his dad’s least memorable movie. When he worked as an assistant to his dad , Hrithik did all kinds of menial jobs, like serving tea to the actors and sweeping the floors.

Maintains scrapbook
