“It was a very different experience for me. To be honest, I have never followed Bigg Boss, never seen any episode. My friends talk about it, that’s how I know about it. Of course, the very big and popular factor of Bigg Boss is Salman Khan. He is an absolute treat to work with. The interaction with him and the contestants just made my day. As a performer, you get something new to attempt. The tasks that happened there, the small gig that we did with Salman, it was so much fun at the end of a 15-hour shift at stretch; shooting for Bigg Boss just refreshed my senses,” Rubina told.

Rubina, in fact, wouldn’t mind taking up the next season of “Bigg Boss”, if offered. “Why not. I would love to take up everything that makes me push my limits, experience something new,” she said.

Rubina, who is playing transgender in the show “Shakti- Astitva ke Ehsaas Ki” says when the role of a transgender was offered to her she was in two minds to take up the role or not.”I was apprehensive about taking up such a project. I was extremely nervous to rise against all the odds,” she adds.To portray this character was a challenge in itself.

“It’s hard to relate to such unusual characters . Thus it becomes an everyday struggle to create something new to refine and maintain the charm of the performance.”In the show “Shakti- Astitva ke Ehsaas Ki” she is paired opposite co-star Vivian D’Sena. “We both are professionals and we appreciate each others work ethics.”
