Here is why Ajay Devgn gets extremely upset with Salman Khan!

Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan have been good friends for many years now. However, it seems that this friendship may also see a crack soon, all thanks to Karan Johar!

Apparently, Ajay is working for quite long time on his ambitious venture “Sons of Sardaar: The Battle of Saragarhi”. The movie is a big-budget war film based on the 1897 battle between 21 Sikhs and 10,000 Afghans.

Last year, Ajay had spoken about the movie saying, “I want this project to have the scale of an international epic. Actually, I want it to be one of the biggest films that comes from India. Hence, the prep and the research is extensive. The budget runs into hundreds of crores. For me, SOS is not just an ambitious film, it is also a sentimental one.”

However, Ajay was apparently in for a shock when Salman Khan and Karan Johar announced their project based on the same battle. Ajay and Karan-Salman’s films are said to be based on the same hero, Havildar Ishar Singh. In Karan’s film, Akshay will reportedly play Havildar Ishar Singh who was the military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army who led his men to confront thousands of Afghan Orakzai invaders on September 12, 1897. The battle came to be famously known as the Battle Of Saragarhi.

Ajay Devgn also shares good friendship with Akshay Kumar. Both the actors work together in many movies like “Khakee”, “Suhaag”, “Insan” etc.

Ajay has reportedly sent an emotional message to the “Sultan” actor as well.

A leading daily saying, “Ajay did not believe the news initially. He considers Salman family. However, when he was sure, he sent across an emotional message to Salman saying he had not expected Salman to hurt him like this. He said to Salman that it was unfair to make a film on the same subject that his team has been working for the last two years.”

”He added that it was unfair of him to make a film on the same subject that he and his team had been working on for the last couple of years. He requested Salman not to do the same story if possible.”

The daily reports a close friend of Salman as saying, “Knowing Salman, he might not have known of Ajay’s film. He will never do anything to hurt a friend.”
