Vipul Shah who is particularly close to his action-franchise Commando starring Vidyut Jammwal in the lead has raised the bar for Commando 2.
The prequel has already established the kind of mettle Vidyut is made of, especially when it comes to performing stunts.
Shah doffs his hat to the soldiers at the border who recently took part in a surgical strike and completed the mission entrusted to them. “My film is about commandos and their indefatigable spirit,“ says the maker.

Vipul who has complete faith in Vidyut’s abilities has made sure that Part 2 of the film, not only touches a patriotic chord, but it also gives action-junkies an adrenaline rush. Vidyut, who has mastered parkour, Kalaripayattu and has trained in martial arts, has performed some skillful and tough action which is bound to become a talking point with audiences and real-life commandos.
While Vidyut went to the border to interact with the men in uniform, Vipul is keen to hold a screening for the real life heroes. The makers aim to go to the next level with the sequel.
