5. Zaheer Abbas and Rita Luthra
One of the finest batsmen from Pakistan Zaheer Abbas met Rita in 1980s. Rita used to study interior designing in United Kingdom and Zaheer used to play for English county Gloucestershire. They got married in 1988. After marriage, Rita changed her religion and became Samina Abbas. The two now stay in Karachi and Samina runs a successful interior design business there as well.

Arguably one of England’s most astute captains of all time, Mike Brearley met Mana Sarabhai during England’s tour of India in 1976-77. Mana is the daughter of Gautam Sarabhai, a highly successful businessman from Ahmedabad. Mike tied the knot to his Guajarati wife Mana Sarabhai and took Guajarati lessons for almost four years.
