Diana Penty’s ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ sequel to be shot in China?

After receiving encouraging feedback for the Abhay Deoland Diana Penty starrer ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi‘, director Mudassar Aziz is now planning on a sequel to the comedy.

Diana Penty’s last outing Happy Bhaag Jayegi turned out to be a money spinner at the box office following which the makers are all set to make the film’s sequel. Actor Ali Fazal and Diana’s characters, who got married in the last film, will be heading to China for their honeymoon.

A source close to the development revealed, “Ali and Diana are all set to shoot some major portions of the film in China. The film’s team is currently doing a recee there and will start the shoot in July.”

Two new characters will be introduced in the sequel and the entire cast of ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’ will be retained including Abhay Deol, Diana Penty, Ali Fazal, Jimmy Shergill and Piyush Mishra.

To be directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Anand L. Rai, the sequel to Happy Bhaag Jayegi is scheduled to release early next year.
