Since last two years, the whole nation has been pondering over the question, “Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?” And the answer to this ultimate question will be revealed in exactly a month as Baahubali: The Conclusion will hit the theatres on April 28.
But fans just can’t wait to know the truth, which is why on the pre-release event of Baahubali: The Conclusion, Sathyaraj, who is playing Kattappa in the SS Rajamouli directorial, was asked the ultimate question.
At the pre-release audio event held in Hyderabad on 26th March, Kattappa aka Sathyaraj finally revealed why Kattappa killed Baahubali.

The actor was invited on the stage to deliver a speech but was first asked the question which sent the nation into a frenzy. Sathyaraj was ready with his witty response in no time. He said, “Producers, Shobu sir and Prasad sir paid me very well. And Rajamouli told me to kill Baahubali, so I killed him. Otherwise how can I kill Prabhas? He has been my darling since ‘Mirchi’ (a 2003 hit in which both the stars- Prabhas and Sathyaraj acted together).”
This obviously brought the whole venue down with huge laughter and claps.
‘Baahubali 2’ is slated to hit the theatres on April 28 worldwide.
