SS rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ is continuously breaking and making records in Indian film industry since it has been released. The film has become first Indian movie which earned massive amount of money Rs 1,000 crore worldwide. Not even in India, film is breaking records worldwide.
People knows about the film’s star cast, but very few people knows about its director SS Rajamouli and his family. Not many of us known that his wife Rama is a divorcee. Not only this, she is 4 years older than him.
Rajamouli and his wife Rama’s love story is quite interesting. Rama is music director M. M. Keeravani’s (Rajamouli’s cousin) wife Sreevalli’s younger sister.

Rama was already married when the duo first met, and she even had a son. It was then in 2000 when Rama and her ex-husband filed for divorce, which led to a bitter settlement but thankfully left her as the sole custodian of her son Karthikeya.
During this tough phase of her life, Rajamouli stood by her side. In 2001, Rajamouli finally proposed to Rama and in the same year they had a court marriage, which was only attended by close family members.
In an interview, Rajamouli has often shared that Rama’s divorcee status did not hamper his affection towards her, and he was ready to accept her with her son from previous marriage.
It was 2003, and Rajamouli was working on his second Telugu film. It was one of those film shooting days when his wife had accompanied him. The costumes for the film had arrived, and being the director, Rajamouli was extremely disappointed by the look of the costumes. That day marked the foray of Rama into the world of costume designing, and since then she has been the staple costumer designer for most of Rajamouli’s films.
