2017 is the year of weddings, and after telly actress Kavita Kaushik, Navina Bole, Shireen Sambyal, Panchi Bora and Priya Bathija walked down the aisle with their love, yet another celebrity from the tinsel town is all set to join this bandwagon.
TV actress Ekta Tiwari, best known for playing the lead role of ‘Radha’ in Star Plus show ‘Tere Mere Sapne’ as well as for her role a’God woman’ in ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, got engaged to long-time actor beau Sushant Kandya on 14 June.
Their engagement ceremony was a close-knit affair with their relatives, friends and family by their side. Ekta’s fiancee Sushant is an actor and has even worked in a film – “Badlapur Boys”.

Speaking about her love-story, Ekta told an entertainment portal that, “We did back-to-back seven episodes opposite each other in Crime Patrol, and before we realised we were in love. Nobody had to propose anyone, and even this engagement happened quite suddenly, it wasn’t even planned. We are really happy and looking forward to a great life.”
The actress even spoke about her wedding plans and said, “About marriage, I can only say, if we don’t get married till January-February, we’ll again leave it to the destiny. It’ll happen when it is meant to happen.”
