Actor Ankit Singh who was roped in to play the role of Bajirao’s best friend on the show “Peshwa Bajirao” had an accident on the first day of his shoot. The actor injured himself during a horse riding sequence and broke his right arm.
The actor had apparently informed the production house that he is an amateur at horse riding and on his first day itself he was asked to gallop the horse. Things went wrong and he broke his arm and is in severe pain.
The actor was told to go to a hospital and the production team assured him that he will be reimbursed. He decided to go to a better hospital to get treated. Ankit later found out that he has been replaced overnight.
Being the sole breadwinner of the family, Ankit was shaken to find out that he has been replaced without being informed or going over the legal procedures. Ankit has approached CINTAA as he seeks compensation for being replaced overnight.
The production house has paid off his medical expenses and CINTAA is currently working on the compensation case.
