Here is a sad news for all the fans of Life Ok show, ‘Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta’ which was one of the most highly anticipated show as it marked Kritika Kamra’s comeback on television as is reports are to be believed, the show is going off air very soon.
The show has Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Khanna in the lead roles. Despite of having popular stars in the lead role, show has terribly failed to impress the audience.
According to news in India Forums, “Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta, the show was meant to be a finite series, but it has apparently failed to fetch the expected numbers on the TRP charts. And analyzing the same, Life OK has decided to pull the plug on the show. Of what we hear, the show will go off-air in the month of August.”
When Gaurav Khanna was asked about this, he said, “We have no idea about it. We haven’t got any information on the same.”
On the other hand, Ekta Kapoor’s Chandrakanta – Ek Mayavi Prem Gatha, that has Madhurima Tuli playing the main lead, topped the charts this week. It was one of the Top 5 shows in the BARC report.
