Raghu Ram to throw a divorce party after court proceedings get over

After 10 years of nuptial, ‘Roadies’ fame Raghu Ram and his wife Sugandha Garg filed for divorce last year in January. The couple decided to part ways mutually.

One of the toughest judges on small screen Raghu Ram intends to throwing a divorce part once the court proceedings are over.

Raghu and Sugandha, both strong personalities with creative inclinations found love in each other. After a brief dating period, the two tied the knot in 2006. Raghu is known best for being the ‘abusing’ and ‘strict’ judge of Roadies, while Sugandha is better remembered for playing Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza’s friend in “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na”.

The television personality, who is launching his first reality show India’s Best Judwaah under his production house along with his brother Rajiv Lakshman has been separated from his wife from the past one year, but hasn’t been too vocal about the same.

According to an entertainment portal, he recently openly admitted to divorcing his wife and revealed that they have been living separate since 2016.

Raghu, who has maintained that he and Sugandha are still the best of friends, in his cool inimitable style said, “Well Sugandha is currently studying in Madrid and once she is back, we will get back with the formalities. There is nothing much to say now, I will make an announcement once the proceedings are over, and will also throw a divorce party.”

The mutual friends of Raghu Ram and Sugandha Garg said that there is no hostility between the duo and they are separating mutually and peacefully. It is speculated that busy schedule took a toll in their relationship. Both Raghu and Sugandha couldn’t spend enough time with each other due to their professional commitments and hence decided to separate for good reason.

“Raghu and Sugandha are wonderful people, they have decided to uncouple but they deeply care about each other. They respect each other’s decision and still hang out together. In fact we all hang out together and there is no awkwardness or bad feeling at all,” a friend of the couple was quoted as saying.

Raghu grew to fame along with his brother from Roadies and now they have launched their production house and have launched their first show ‘India’s Best Judwaa‘ , which will be hosted by Karanvir Bohra, who recently became a father to twin daughters.

India’s best Judwaah’s concept is quite new in the industry as all twins would come on the show and we will get glimpse of their relation and bond with each other. The show will air every weekend 8 pm from 22 July on Zee TV.
