Story of the movie:
This story is of the tourist guide Harinder Singh Nehra aka Harry (Shah Rukh Khan) and a Gujarati girl Sejal (Anushka Sharma). The story begins with the UK where Sejal engaged with her fiancee. When this couple is to return to India the Sajel lost her engagement ring. In quest of the object, she hires the same tour-guide Harry (Shah Rukh) and together they set off visiting the exact same spots that she and her family visited—in the hope of finding the heirloom. Slowly and steadily, she finds her Jordan in Harry, whom she calls ‘Hairy’. In such a way, now does the Sejal get her ring or not? Does she stop with Harry in the UK? You will have to watch the movie to know this.
Script Analysis:
Jab Harry Met Sejal has a lot of similarities to Imtiaz Ali’s previous films like Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, Rockstar, Tamasha. In fact, some scenes will take you back to those films.

Direction:
The film’s direction is good. Also cinematography and camera work have been done well. Imtiaz’s films are generally long, though the film is short for the time but still bore. There is no newness in the story. The second half could’ve lived up the hopes first half set.
Star Cast Performance:
Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma have good acting in the film. The story is surrounded by both, so the focus is only on them. This is the film you’ll get to see the vintage Shah Rukh Khan. Comedy, romance, drama – he perfects each department. Imtiaz Ali, always, makes you fall in love with his characters and Harry is one of them.
Anushka Sharma has looked at her beautiful best in this film. No matter what she says, you can’t just get your eyes off her. She has excelled with her Gujarati accent.
Music Direction:
The music is average but Radha will definitely get you to attempt a bhangra-garba mix at your next house party. Music director, Pritam, is the silent hero of this film. The way songs are binded with the story only tells what this man is able to pull off. Penned by Irshad Kamil, the songs are life of this film.
Watch Or Not:
If you are the fan of Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, then you can watch this movie.
