Hindi TV serials have different status in India. The serials are infinite and if the show clicks with the audience, it runs for more than 5 years easily. These characters are the lives of these serials. With tight schedule and so much for hard work for such a long period also come a lot of problems. Sometimes, the actors can’t make any other commitments while at other times they have a problem with how the shoe progresses. These are the times that the celebs quit the show. And this is not uncommon in Indian TV.
Take a look at the actors who had been replaced in between the show.
1. Karan Mehra
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fans were in for a shock after Karan Mehra, who played Naitik Singhania, opted out of the show due to health problems. The character was however not killed and was shown to be missing. Well, Vishal Singh of Dekh Bhai Dekh and Parrvarish fame has bagged the popular role.
2. Arjit Taneja
Arjit Taneja who portrays the role of Purab in ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ quits the show. He was replaced by Vin Rana.
3. Rohan Mehra
‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s’ Naksh aka Rohan Mehra has left the show to participate in Bigg Boss 10. Actor Rishi Dev replaced him in the show.
4. Cezanne Khan
Cezanne Khan who was populary famous for his role of Anurag Basu in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ left the show due to double leap in the serial as he did not want to perform the role of grand father. Actor Hiten Tejwani replaced him in the show.
5. Amar Upadhyay
Amar Upadhyay performed the role of Mihir Virani in iconic soap opera Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. But, when show took a leap he left it. And, then his role was performed by Ronit Roy.

6. Rajeev Khandelwal
Rajeev Khandelwal is mainly recognised for playing the character of Sujal Garewal in Kahin To Hoga. Then, his role was performed by Gurupreet Singh.
7. Sushant Singh Rajput
Sushant Singh Rajput who perform the role of Manav in the daily soap ‘Pavitra Rishta’ quits, when the leap came out in the show. Because he did not want to play the father of young children. And, then his role was performed by Hiten Tejwani.
8. Mohnish Behl
Mohnish Behl, who plays Dr Ashutosh in “Kuch Toh Log Kahenge”, quits the show. Sources claim that he was asked to leave due to his tantrums. He was replaced by actor Sharad Kelkar.
9. Shoaib Ibrahim
Shoaib Ibrahim, the male lead of ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ quit the show. And, he was replaced by Dheeraj Dhooper.
10. Giaa Manek
Giaa Manek left “Saath Nibhana Saathiya” because of torture. Her contract permitted to go ahead but the channel did not want her to go thats why she was terminated from the show. Devoleena Bhattacharjee replaced her.
