Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming film “Chef” has been creating waves ever since it was announced and the sneak peeks into the film have only increased the curiosity around it.
After fun track ‘Shugal Laga Le’ and romantic track ‘Tere Mere’, now the makers of “Chef” release a new song “Banjara”that is about Saif’s character trying to start his new mobile catering business with his help of his close aide, played by Chandan Roy Sanyal, and his young son, played by Svar Kamble.
Composed by Raghu Dixit, written by Ankur Tewari and sung by Vishal Dadlani – this one’s a light-hearted upbeat number.
In “Banjaara”, we see Saif creating good memories for themselves, giving all the attention his son deserves taking him on a ride in his food truck. Basically, the two are bonding over food. How delicious!
In the song, it is shown how Saif’s son helps him to achieve his goal. The song also features some lip-smacking local delicacies like Amritsar’s famous lassi, which will surely make you crave for it.

From the trailer of the movie, we already know that Roshan (Saif Ali Khan) is a food aficionado, who is a chef and wants to open a food cart of sorts. Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon. Chef is directed by Raja Krishna Menon and marks Saif’s second film this year.
“Chef” also stars South actress Padmapriya as the female lead.
The Saif Ali Khan starrer is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Janani Ravichandran and Raja Krishna Menon. The film is scheduled to release on October 6 this year.
Saif Ali Khan also has films like “Bazaar” and “Kaalakaandi” in the pipeline.
