Nawazuddin Siddiqui is constantly stuck in controversies due to his book ‘An Ordinary Life: A Memoir’. The actor’s revelations in his book have hurt many people, especially the women who have been talked about in the book.
After Niharika Singh accused Nawazuddin of “fabricating stories and manipulating a fleeting relationship” to make his book fly off the shelves, now his first girlfriend, Sunita Rajwar, has slammed him for his “extraordinary lies”.
Nawaz wrote in his book mentioning Sunita that she was his first love. the two met while working on a play and fell in love. However, she went to her parent’s house a few days later and ended their ‘deep, passionate’ relationship upon her return. He wrote that he went into a depression after the episode and even contemplated committing suicide. He believed that she left him due to his financial situation and because she wanted to date someone successful.
An excerpt from the book read, “I took a bucket of fresh white paint and began to replace her artwork on my walls with the blank canvas that they were before”, added that Sunita wanted to “date someone successful, not a struggling, desperate actor who was out of work.” And he also said, “today, Sunita tells everybody that she was once together with me in a very serious relationship.”

Sunita called his memoir a collection of “extraordinary lies” and then went on to reveal the “real reason” why she left Nawazuddin. She took to Facebook and hit back at Nawaz.
In her post, titled An Ordinary Life of Extraordinary Lies, she says Nawazuddin has lied about almost everything. She says he was her senior at the National School of Drama where they met a few times before working on the play. She said she never made any ‘art work’ on his walls either, like he had written.
