‘Subedar Joginder Singh’ team partners with Sikhs of New York for ‘The Turban Day’

The much anticipated film Subedar Joginder Singh biopic has become a talk of the town since its very inception. The film release is just around the corner and the team is currently promoting their film across the globe.

 Recently, the film’s team was seen in the New York City, for the music launch of its track “Ishq da Taara”. It has happened for the first time in the history of Punjabi Cinema that a film’s music album has launched at such a big scale.

Now, if reports are to be believed, the makers also partnered with a NY- based organization named Sikhs of NY, who annually organize an event called the Turban Day at Times Square. Turban Day is an event which is held in order to educate people across the globe about the nobility associated with Turban, which the Sikhs hold in highest regard.

The event is about creating awareness among Americans and the rest of the world about Sikhism and Turban. The entire team of Subedar Joginder Singh joined hands with Sikhs of NY to support such a pious cause.

Subedar Joginder Singh is a war biopic on the life and valor of 1962 Indo-China War martyr and India’s highest wartime gallantry award – Param Vir Chakra winner.

The film also features Guggu Gill, Kulwinder Billa, Rajvir Jawanda, Roshan Prince, Karamjit Anmol and Sardar Sohi in prominent characters.

‘Subedar Joginder Singh’ is produced by Seven Colors Motion Pictures in association with Saga Music and Unisys Infosolutions. It is directed by Simerjit Singh and will release on April 6, 2018.
