Irrfan Khan and Kirti Kulhari starrer ‘Blackmail’ movie has been released in cinemas. The film is quirky comedy movie which revolves around Irfan Khan’s blackmail to his wife’s boyfriend.

Story of the movie: The film starts with Dev (Irrfan Khan), who is a toilet paper salesman whose life is so boring  and there is no excitement in his married life too. One day, he decides to turn up with a bouquet of roses at his house to surprise his wife Reena (Kirti Kulhari). After reaching home, he discovers that his wife is with his boyfriend Ranjit (Arunoday Singh) in the bedroom. After watching all the things, Dev decides to blackmail his wife’s boyfriend. Then Reena and Ranjit starts trying to arrange money and the thing gets so confusing that even a man is killed in all this. Will Irrfan gets money at the end of the story, for this you have to watch the film.

Star Performance: Irrfan Khan delivers a solid performance in the role of Salesman and as a husband. The planning of his blackmailing will make you laugh. Arunoday Singh plays a major role in making this film  entertaining. Divya Dutta is perfect in the role of a dominating, foul-mouthed wife. Kriti has also done to her role.

Music Direction: The film music is given by Amit Trivedi which runs along with the story and fits on the scenes. Songs like Badla and Sataasat are just another example of how to perfectly use songs in a film.

Direction: The film’s direction is good. First half of the film is a bit slow. It takes time to set up the plot, but later it is quite entertaining. Director Abhinay Deo leaves no stone unturned to make the film entertaining. Each and every scene of the film is presented in a comic style.
