Punjabi singer Parmish Verma’s alleged shooter Dilpreet Singh warns him and says ‘You’re Lucky To Be Alive’

Famous Punjabi singer Parmish Verma was recently shot by unknown person in Mohali on Friday night. “Some unidentified persons fired shots at Parmish last night at Sector 91 in Mohali when he was returning home. A bullet hit his leg,” Mohali Senior Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Chahal said.

Mr Verma was shot on the leg, while his friend was injured from the shooting as well. The singer and his friend were both rushed to Fortis Hospital in Mohali soon after. Hospital authorities said that the singer and his friend are now both out of danger.

At around 4 am a few hours after the shooting, Dilpreet Singh Dhahan, a local gangster, took to social media to claim responsibility for the shooting.

In a Facebook post, the gangster said that Mr Verma had “tried his best to escape, but eventually suffered.” In the post, Dilpreet said that Verma was lucky to be alive and warned him that if they ever meet face to face, Parmish will have to face the consequences.

Dhahan shared two images in the Facebook status, with one image showing the gangster posing with a pistol and the other of thesinger, marked with a red cross, a sign that the gangster had ‘eliminated’ his target.

A case has been registered in this regard, police said, adding that investigation was underway.

Parmish is one of the famous Punjabi singer. He shot into fame with his song ‘Gaal Ni Kadni’.
