Television actor Kavi Kumar Azad who plays the role of Dr Hansraj Hathi in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ breathed his last on July 9.
The sudden demise of the actor has left the TV industry and fans in a state of shock. He breathed his last after suffering a cardiac arrest. The actor was cremated at the Mira Road (East) Crematorium.
His co-stars, from the show were also a part of his last journey and paid their last respect to him. But, something didn’t goes well down with Dr. Hathi’s co-star Munmun Dutta.
The actress left extremely disappointed at the behaviour of the public present at the cremation ceremony. In a series of posts, Munmun lashed out at the people who acted to be sad and were a part of Dr. Hathi’s final journey.

Munmun Dutta also expressed her remorse on social media with a post. She wrote, “THIS IS HOW WE REMEMBER YOU and WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU. One of the cleanest soul, jovial, humble and a happy person. Too numb and shocked 2day. #RestInPeace Hathi bhai. Thank u 4 those beautiful memories and those special sindhi parathas.(sic)”

Kavi was playing the role of Dr Haathi on the show for 8 years. Apart from that, the actor has also appeared in movies like Mela, Fun2sh, Jodha Akbar, and Kyon Ki.
