But there’s one actress who regrets working in Salman Khan starrer ‘Dabangg’. Yes, we are talking about bollywood actress Mahie Gill who had a small role opposite Arbaaz Khan in Dabangg.

In a recent interview for her upcoming film Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3, the actress told, After Dev D, I had won a lot of appreciation and awards. People wanted to sign me for films. But I did Dabangg and it backfired big time. The producers started to offer me small roles. I felt very bad but I did not know what was happening. I believe in destiny a lot, I think this was meant to happen. I did regret doing the role but now I do not.”

“In my case, it backfired. My career stopped at that very point. Thanks to Tigmanshu Dhulia for offering me Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster series. I am proud of this series. When we started with the first part, we did not think it will become a hit. The best about this franchise is that it is growing, the characters are the same but the story is in continuity. That is the beauty of this franchise.”

Meanwhile, her upcoming film Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3, is the third instalment in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s series of films of the same name.

In the film, Sanjay Dutt will be making a comeback on the big screen in a negative role and will essay the role of a gangster in the film. While Jimmy and Mahi will continue to essay the role of Saheb and Biwi from the first installment of the film and Chitrangda Singh will play the role of Sanjay Dutt’s love-interest in the film. The film can be perfectly defined as a story of royal scandal.

The venture is produced by Rahul Mittra. It also stars Deepak Tijori, Kabir Bedi, Nafisa Ali, Rahul Mittra, Deepraj Rana, Soha Ali Khan in pivotal parts.

The film is set to hit the screens on July 27.
