Makeup in movies is equally important as actors. Every actor takes the help of make-up to look good at on-screen. But let us tell you that the make-up is not only done to look good but, sometimes to look different. Today, we are going to tell you about make-up in some of the films that are considered to be the toughest makeup of all time.

1. Sanju

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Sanju’ released in cinemas. The film traces all phase of Sanjay Dutt’s life, from early Rocky days to drug phase to Yerwada jail to life post jail. Ranbir transformed himself to look alike Sanjay Dutt. It was not an easy task for Ranbir to get into all looks of Sanjay Dutt. It took several hours in Ranbir Kapoor’s make-up.

2. FAN

It was not an easy task for the makers of ‘Fan’ to make Shah Rukh Khan look like a 25-year-old in his latest release movie. After failing to get any positive response from several senior make-up artists all across the globe, director Maneesh Sharma had almost lost all hopes until Greg came into picture. 3. Paa

In the film Paa, Amitabh Bachchan played the role of 13 year old child Auro, suffering from a rare disorder called progeria. According to the reports Bachchan’s make-up cost 10 per cent of the total budget. It is learnt that it used to take four to five hours daily for Amitabh Bachchan’s makeup to be done for the film and then two hours to remove it. There are eight different layers of clay which has been put in his make up in the film. While applying the make up he cannot eat, drink and talk for four hours.

4. Kapoor & Sons

Rishi Kapoor’s look in the film, Kapoor & Sons has surprised his fans. Rishi Kapoor’s make up in the film has been done by American artist Greg Cannom. It took almost five hours everyday for the actor to get ready as Dadu, the end result was fascinating. Rishi’s producers have spent Rs 1.5 lakhs for this look for the film.

5. Robot

Rajinikanth had a double role in this film, for which he takes the help of make-up to look younger than his age. It took almost six hours everyday for the actor to get ready for the film.
