Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Bharat’ is one of the most awaited films of the year. Well, recently one more actor joins the team of the film and he is none another than bollywood actor Jackie Shroff.
Yes, the actor has been roped in to play Salman Khan’s father in the film.
Zafar confirmed the news about Shroff stepping in to play the part, saying, “We met Jaggu da in London and discussed his dates and looks. I have wanted to work with him for a long time as I feel he is the perfect amalgamation of a star and actor. I was very glad as Jackie sir instantly agreed with the story to do the film in just 20 mins of narration.”

He also welcomed Jackie by posting the picture with him and captioned it as, “Welcome to @bharat_thefilm@apnabhidu :)”
Bharat will be an onscreen adaptation of 2014 South Korean movie Ode To My Father. The film will be shot across locations in Abu Dhabi, Spain, Punjab and Delhi.
Salman’s character in the film will undergo various transformations depending spanning different age group. The film also stars Disha Patani, Tabu, Nora Fatehi and Sunil Grover.
The film will release on Eid 2019.
