Loveyatri title controversy: Supreme Court says no coercive action against film’s producer Salman Khan!

As we all knows that Salman Khan is launching his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma in the film Loveratri. But, the film has been embroiled in controversy due to it’s title. Some groups opposed the title and stated that it hurt Hindu sentiments.

Later, Salman Khan changed the title of the film from Loveratri to Loveyatri. This title also didn’t goes well down with Hindu outfits and they had taken objection to the same.

FIR was also registered against the makers based on complaints by various persons. This forced Salman Khan to approach the apex court seeking protection from Hindu fringe groups and a go-ahead to release the film.

And now, SC announced it’s verdict in the matter. As per news in PTI, Supreme Court has ordered that no coercive action shall be taken against Salman Khan Ventures Private ltd, the producers of bollywood movie ‘Loveratri’. SC also ordered that no further FIR will be entertained against the producer of the movie.

The film is a love story set in Gujarat. The film is directed by debutant director Abhiraj Minawala (former assistant of director Ali Abbas Zafar) and produced by Salman Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films.

The film is slated to release on October 5, 2018.
