#MeToo: Nana Patekar responds to CINTAA, calls Tanushree Dutta’s allegations as ‘baseless’

Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta is currently breaking the headlines as she recently accuses Nana Patekar of harassing her on the sets of the 2008 film Horn Ok Pleasss.

While many have comes out in support of Tanushree. While, many  are still maintaining stoic silence over the controversy.

However, Nana denied all such allegations and said, “I said 10 years ago. The truth which was 10 years ago remains the same today and will continue to be tomorrow as well.”

 CINTAA (Cine and Television Artistes’ Association) sent legal notice to the actor seeking his explanation.

And now, Nana Patekar finally responds to CINTAA that the accusations leveled against him by the actress are false and baseless.

According to ANI, “#NanaPatekar has sent a detailed response to CINTAA over the notice they sent him based on complaint by #TanushreeDutta. In his response he stated allegations levelled against him are baseless&false, also stated that he is in process of adopting legal mesaures against Tanushree.”

The #MeeToo movement get momentum in India after Tanushree Dutta spoke up against Nana Patekar almost two weeks ago. Recently, a lot of such cases have come to the fore, with big names like Alok Nath, Kailash Kher, Rohit Roy, Rajat Kapoor being accused of harrasement by women.
