Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar are coming together for the very first time for a sports biopic.

Yes, the duo will be seen playing the role of world’s oldest sharpshooters, Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar in Anurag Kashyap’s next.

Bhumi on Saturday took to Twitter, where she shared a photograph of herself along with Taapsee, Chandro and Prakashi.

She captioned the image: “Old is Gold and this is certainly GOLD! Excited to begin the shooting of this groundbreaking real story of world’s oldest sharpshooters!”

 

Well the title of the film is yet to be finalized. The film is a sports drama based on the UP-based octogenarian sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar and the film is being directed by debutante director Tushar Hiranandani.

Chandro, 87, and Prakashi, 82, are from Uttar Pradesh’s Johri village and reportedly took up sharpshooting in their 50s. Chandro, who is fondly called as shooter ‘dadi’ is among the world’s oldest female sharpshooters.
