Actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol, who was contesting the elections from Punjab’s Gurdaspur Parliamentary constituency has won the seat beating Congress candidate Sunil Jakhar.
Many Bollywood celebs including his family and friends from the fraternity took to social media to congratulate the 62-year-old actor.

Esha Deol, who is the step-sister of Sunny, has congratulated him on his victory. The daughter of legendary actress Hema Malini took to her Twitter account and wrote, “Congratulations @iamsunnydeol my best wishes to u always”

If reports are to be believed, both Sunny and Bobby are not seen bonding or even spotted in the same picture with their step sisters Esha And Ahana Deol. The brother did not even attend Esha and Ahana’s wedding.
Not only Sunny, Esha also wishes her mother, Hema Malini too, who won from the Mathura constituency. She wrote, “She did it again. Congratulations and my best wishes for round 2. Ur doing a fantastic job as an Indian citizen.”

Meanwhile, Esha Deol is expecting her second child with husband Bharat Takhtani. They have a daughter Radhya together.
