A 45 year old women named Karmala Modex from Kerala has claimed herself to be the daughter of Bollywood veteran playback singer Anuradha Paudwal.

 The woman has also registered a case in the district family court in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram and claimed that Anuradha handed her over to her foster parents Ponnachan and Agnes when she was just 4 days old.

 Karmala claims that Anuradha and Arun didn’t want to raise her because of their busy schedule.

According to an Indian Express report, Karmala also said that Ponnachan, her foster father, revealed that she is Anuradha’s daughter when he was on his death bed.

Speaking to about same to Indian Express, Karma who was born in 1974 said, “About four-five years ago, my foster father Ponnachan confessed on his deathbed that my biological mother was actually Anuradha Paudwal. I was told that I was four days old when I was handed over to my foster parents. Ponnachan, who was posted in the Army in Maharashtra at the time, was friends with Anuradha. Later, he got a transfer to Kerala.

Ponnachan and Agnes have three kids and they raised Karmala as their fourth child. After Ponnachan’s disclosure and subsequent death, Karmala tried to contact Anuradha but her attempts were in vain.

Karmala has also sought a compensation of Rs 50 crore from her biological parents for allegedly denying her the childhood and life she was entitled to.

Karmala’s advocate Anil Prasad revealed that the district court has asked Paudwal and her two children to appear on January 27 for hearing. And if they fail to do so, his client shall ask for a DNA test to be done.
