1. Sacred Games

Sacred Games is an Indian web television thriller Emmy nominated series based on Vikram Chandra’s 2006 novel of the same name. Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) is a troubled police officer in Mumbai who receives a phone call from gangster Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), who tells him to save the city within 25 days. The series chronicles the events that follow.

2. Mirzapur

Mirzapur is an Indian crime thriller web television series on Amazon Prime Video produced by Excel Entertainment. The series is primarily shot in Mirzapur, with some shots in Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Lucknow and Gorakhpur. It revolves around drugs, guns and lawlessness. It depicts the putrescence, governance and rule of mafia dons and the rivalry and crime prevailing in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh.

3. The Family Man

The Family Man is an Indian action drama web television series on Prime Video created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. Starring Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani, it tells the story of a middle-class man secretly working as an intelligence officer for the T.A.S.C, a fictitious branch of the National Investigation Agency.

4. Kota Factory

Kota Factory is an Indian web series directed by Raghav Subbu for The Viral Fever (TVF). The series simultaneously premiered on TVFPlay and YouTube on 16 April 2019. It is also the first black and white web series in India. The show follows the life of 16-year-old Vaibhav who moves to Kota from Itarsi. It shows the life of students in the city, and Vaibhav’s efforts to get into IIT. Kota, a city in Rajasthan, is a hub for many coaching centres where students come from all over India to prepare for various entrance exams. Saurabh Khanna, the creator of the show, says that through Kota Factory he aims to change the perspective about Kota and IIT preparation which he feels has always been one sided emphasising on the trauma that education brings in a student’s life.

5. Made in Heaven

Made in Heaven chronicles the lives of Tara and Karan, two wedding planners in Delhi running an agency named Made in Heaven. The series is Amazon Video’s fourth fictional Indian original series and stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora, and Shivani Raghuvanshi.

6. Yeh Meri Family

Yeh Meri Family is an Indian comedy drama web series series written by Saurabh Khanna and directed by Sameer Saxena for The Viral Fever. The series follows the life of a 12-year-old Harshu Gupta, played by Vishesh Bansal, in Jaipur, Rajasthan in the late 1990s. It also stars Mona Singh, Akarsh Khurana, Ahan Nirban, Ruhi Khan, Prasad Reddy, as members of the Gupta family and their acquaintances and Revathi pillai as harshu’s love interest.

7. Special Ops

Special Ops follows Himmat Singh (Menon) of Research and Analysis Wing who draws similar patterns in terrorist attacks and is convinced a single person is behind all the attacks. His task force team of five agents living in various parts of the world aim to catch the mastermind. Overall the story is based on the inspiration taken from Nineteen Years of national significant events. The story is inspired by several espionage missions undertaken by India in the last two decades.
