Music composer Wajid Khan passes away on June 1 in a Mumbai hospital. He was suffering from kidney problems for the past few years.
Wajid’s brother Sajid Khan told PTI, “He died of cardiac arrest.” He also confirmed that his brother had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Wajid’s funeral will take place in Mumbai. Recently, his brother Sajid Khan was spotted arriving for the same. He was seen following the safety protocols as he was wearing a mask and gloves. As per a report in SpotboyE, his cremation will take place at the Versova burial ground.
Actor Aditya Pancholi also spotted arriving at the funeral.

In conversation with PTI, music composer Salim Merchant told about the deteriorating condition of Wajid saying, “He had multiple issues. He had a kidney issue and had a transplant a while ago. But recently he got to know about kidney infection… He was on the ventilator for the last four days, after his situation started getting worse. Kidney infection was the beginning and then he got critical.”

Sajid-Wajid has been Salman Khan’s favorite music composer and was given a break by the Bollywood superstar in his film Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya in 1998. Sajid-Wajid has recently composed Salman Khan’s lockdown songs Bhai Bhai and Pyaar Karona.
