Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan gets a new release date

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, who was last seen in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is all set to star in his upcoming film Maidaan.

Recently, the actor announce the new release date of the film. Yes, the film which was earlier slated to release on December 11, 2020, will now release on August 13 next year.

Maidaan gets a new release date

 Ajay announced the news with the poster and wrote, “2021 Independence week. An untold story that will make every Indian proud. 13th August mark the date. #Maidaan2021 (sic).”

Ajay will be seen playing the role of legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in the film.

The film is based on the legendary former football player Syed Abdul Rahim, who was also Indian national football team’s coach and manager from 1950 until his death in 1963.

The film has been directed by Amit Sharma and co-produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios.
