The Narcotics Control Beauro has taken the radar of the case on Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Designer Simone Khambatta after their names emerged in Drug nexus. On Tuesday, Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash has been called off by the NCB for allegedly procuring Drugs for the actor. A report stated that Deepika Padukone will likely to be questioned by NCB on the basis of her manager’s statements.
Deepika Padukone to be questioned by NCB for Allegedly Procuring Drugs
A report suggested that Karishma Prakash has asked for buffer till 25 September due to her ill health and the actress will be questioned on her manager’s statements. An official of NCB said that “She (Prakash) didn’t join (the probe) citing ill health. She has sought exemption till September 25,” said NCB Deputy Director (Operations) K P S Malhotra.”
Deepika Padukone’s name emerged in drug nexus case which emerged in Whatsapp chat where “D” is asking “K” for the hash. Prakash is associated with KWAN talent management agency that handles Padukone’s work.
