There has been a lot of debate surrounding Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan’s presence in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film, “Raees”. And with shooting for the film completely wrapped up, there are a lot of questions on whether Mahira will be joining the “Raees” team in India to promote the film.
Mahira Khan is playing the wife of Shah Rukh’s character in Raees. The new video shows Mahira in conversation with Pakistani comedian Umer Sharif where both of them seem to rather unimpressed by India.
The clip shows Mahira Khan saying, “Aapko India se inspire nahi hona chahiye. Bilkul nahi. Hum Bollywood nahi hain (You should not get inspired from India. Not at all. We are not Bollywood).”

The video uploaded on Twitter has got more than 1.3k retweets, with fans losing their cool on the Pak beauty by posting angered comments!
Earlier this month, Shah Rukh Khan assured Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray that Mahira Khan will not come to India for promoting the film.
In view of SRK’s clarifications, the MNS will not oppose the January 25 release or screening of ‘Raees’ in cinema halls.
