As the New Year begins, director Soundarya Rajinikanth had a special surprise for all Dhanush fans.
The star director launched not one, but two first look posters of her upcoming film ‘Velaiyilla Pattathari 2’, featuring her leading stars Dhanush and Kajol.
Soundarya share the posters on social media and wrote alongside, “As the year comes to an end and a #NewYear begins …here’s my gift to all #Dhanush fans #VIP2 #FirstLookPosters #TeaKadaiRajasAreBack #2017”

In the poster, Dhanush and Kajol are facing off against each other at a construction site. Dhanush is dressed in a simple formal attire with a hard hat, as he reprises the role of Raghuvaran, everyone’s favourite civil engineer. Kajol on the other hand, looks elegant in black as she stares down Dhanush. The second poster shows, the actor sitting in a tea stall along with his fellow “Tea Kadai Rajas”.
On a related note, this would be Kajol’s second Tamil film after her Kollywood debut “Minasara Kanavu” in 1997 with Arvind Swamy and Prabhu Deva that became a box office hit.
