Abhishek Bachchan turns 41 today and the Bachchan clan, his friends and fans have all the reasons to celebrate. While we have seen the actor, son, husband and father side of Abhishek, there are a few facts about him which are still quite unknown.
As we all know before getting married with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek was in relationship with actress Karisma Kapoor. On his dad Amitabh Bachchan’s 60th birthday ( October 11, 2002) he got engaged to Karisma but the two got separated within three months.
The reason behind this break up remains as one of the biggest unsolved mysteries of Bollywood till date.

It was apparently in 1997 during Shweta Bachchan’s wedding, that Karishma Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan got serious about each other. Five years later, the entire world knew about the love birds and wedding seemed like just a matter of time. On October 11, 2002, their engagement was announced.
It seemed like the perfect match, with two of the biggest families of Bollywood, Kapoors and Bachchans coming together. Suddenly in February next year, there was an announcement of a break-up.
