Actor Sidhant Gupta who won a million hearts with his role of Kunj in Zee TV’s drama “Tashan-E-Ishq” is on cloud nine. The actor has bagged the role of Aditi Rao Hydari’s boyfriend in Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film ‘Bhoomi’.
The revenge drama will see the 57-year-old actor for the first time on the big screen after he completed his jail term. ‘Bhoomi’ explores a father-daughter relationship. Actress Aditi Rao Hydari is cast in the role of Dutt’s daughter.

Sidhant, who is making his Bollywood debut with the film “Badmashiyaan”, is mainly known for his role as Kunj Sarna in the television show “Tashan-e-Ishq” and followed it up with a stint on dance reality show, “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa”.

The actor confirmed this latest development to a leading daily and said, “”I am fortunate that this film came my way. This is also Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film. So, it ought to be special and big.”
Sidhant was training to become a pilot before the world of glamour beckoned him. He did really well as a model and decided to try his luck in acting. Though his debut film flopped, he moved toward TV show and get good response from audience.
We are not aware of the extent of his role in the film but it is surely a special milestone in his career. The project is co-produced by T-Series and Legend Studios and it is slated to release on August 4.
