Salman Khan love for painting is not hidden. While he has gifted a number of paintings to his beloved B-town friends, he has never sold his work.
But now if reports are to be believed, now the actor is considering this as an option to raise funds for his Being Human Foundation.
The actor had a change of mind when one businessman fan offered him around Rs 20 lakh for a painting of a mother and a son in an embrace. He first thought that Rs 20 lakh is a very meagre amount for a painting which is close to his heart. But when the fan raised his bid to 1 crore for the same painting, Salman readily agreed.

The Bollywood star happily sold his work and invested the money in his charity work. Soon, he started getting more such offers and Salman decided to take this as a chance to raise money for his NGO.
A source close to the actor told Mumbai Mirror, “Salman’s paintings are all about the emotions of life. They are focussed on love, family ties and the oneness of religion, which are all feelings that resonate with the actor. They are extremely personal and he does not paint for money or fame; he does it for the joy and peace it brings him. His family and friends are always gifting him canvases, paints and brushes, but Salman insists that his best works are on life-sized frames with hands. Those will be the paintings up for purchase too.”
In the past, Salman has gifted some of his beautiful work of art to his close ones. His sister Arpita Khan got six-by-ten feet wall portrait while Kareena Kapoor Khan received a life-size portrait of two lovers. Salman Khan had gifted his Ready babe, Asin, a monochrome painting. Some other lucky ones in the list include a family friend Bina Kak, and friends Kabir Khan and Mahesh Manjrekar.
