Author Chetan Bhagat revealed the first look of Bollywood Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun kapoor from her upcoming film ‘Half-Girlfriend’ on Monday.
The film directed by Mohit Suri is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s best selling novel by the same name sets out to explore the ‘in-between’ space in relationships today. For the first time, Arjun and Shraddha star opposite each other in this intense-musical romance.
He posted stills of the actress from the movie on his Twitter saying, “Totally engrossed in the game. @ShraddhaKapoor’s exclusive still from #halfgirlfriend. Don’t miss the cool sporty hair-do!”

Arjun Kapoor also posted a picture from the film tweeting, “Playing it up for my #halfgirlfriend! #19thMay”.

Arjun and Shraddha essay the role of basketball players in the film and were required to get trained in the sport to perfection.

Interestingly, Arjun is already a basketball pro, but Shraddha picked up the game with her consistent dedication. According to reports, director Mohit Suri revealed that Shraddha would practice on the court for hours every day throughout the month until she got it right.
‘Half Girlfriend’ is all set to release on the 19th of May.
