Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie portrays an inspirational story of former Indian wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who trains his daughters Geeta and Babita to become world-class wrestlers.

The actor has tasted immense success on Chinese soil with ‘PK’, ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Dhoom 3’ being the highest grossing Indian films there. If ‘PK’ was the first Indian film to cross 100-crore mark in China with a massive 4000-screen release, ‘3 Idiots’ was one of the first Indian movies to have been screened in China since 1970.

In fact, reportedly, Aamir Khan and director of the film Nitesh Tiwari will be leaving tonight to promote Dangal in China. The actor shares an extremely special relationship with this territory and has a huge fan following. Considering the actor’s huge fan base, distributors in China are reportedly planning to release the film in ‘a huge scale’.

The actor, expected to be in China between April 16 and 21, will visit Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province.

‘Dangal’ became the highest grossing film of all times in India with a Box Office collection of 384 Cr and another 20 Cr through digital platforms. Starring debutants Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar, the film hit Indian screens on December 23.
