Ex Bigg Boss contestant, Mandana Karimi, who got married to boyfriend Gaurav Gupta in January this year, has filed a domestic violence case against her husband.
It was earlier reported that she had also filed for divorce, as well as asked for a compensation of Rs 2 crore and monthly maintenance of Rs 10 lakh.
But, now Mandana has clarified that she still loves him, and has only filed a case of domestic abuse against her in-laws who threw her out of her marital home and wouldn’t let her come back.

Now, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Mandana has now clarified that she has not filed for divorce from Gupta. She said, “After an argument with my husband, I had gone to a friend’s to cool down. When I returned, they wouldn’t let me enter and have stopped communicating with me.”
“Some of my friends have come down but my family is not here and I don’t have a place to stay. I am not in touch with anyone from Bigg Boss so I don’t think any of them are aware of my plight,” she added.
Asking if she will eventually file for divorce, she claimed she still loves her husband very much and doesn’t want the relationship to go kaput. “I didn’t leave my house, I love it. I haven’t been allowed to enter the house or even my husband’s office but that doesn’t mean I should get divorced. I am still his wife, I love Gaurav. I haven’t filed for divorce, I have only filed a domestic violence case. I never expected it to end up as a horror story. You never expect things will turn bad when you are in love. Unfortunately, that’s what happened to me.”
Mandana Karimi married Gaurav Gupta on January 26 after dating for almost two years. The couple opted for a court wedding, which was followed by a wedding as per the Hindu rituals on March 5.
