Aamir Khan, who is gearing up for his next release Dangal, has said that he plans to seek a tax-free status for the film.
Dangal is based on the life of wrestler and coach Mahavir Singh Phogat for which Aamir Khan went through an intense physical transformation.

At a promotional event on Monday, apart from revealing footage of the film, Aamir also said that he is planning to make the movie tax-free.”I think Dangal falls in the line of tax exemption. We will be applying for tax exemption, but I am not someone to decide on that. It will be the decision of each state government. We will try to make it happen before the release, but it is a process. It may or may not happen. I can’t predict how long it will take” Aamir said here.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Aparshakti Khurrana and is slated to release on December 23.
