Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s staff member have been tested positive for coronavirus. The actor confirmed the news on Tuesday and said those who tested positive were “immediately quarantined” in a medical facility.

Issuing an official statement, Aamir thanked BMC officials for their ‘prompt’ response in taking care of his staff. “Hello everyone, this is to inform you that some of my staff have tested positive. They were immediately quarantined, and BMC officials were very prompt and efficient in taking them to a medical facility. I would like to thank the BMC for taking such good care of them, and for fumigating and sterilising the entire society,” he said.

The actor even shared that while he and his family have tested negative, but he was worried as he took his mother, Zeenat Hussain, to get her tests done. Thankfully the superstar’s mother has tested negative for the deadly virus.

Taking to the microblogging site, the actor wrote, “Hello everyone, I am most relieved to inform everyone that Ammi is Covid 19 negative. Thank You, everyone, for your prayers and good wishes. Love. a.(sic)”

Aamir has been living with his wife Kiran Rao and their son Azad Rao Khan at his Mumbai residence. His daughter Ira Khan had joined him during lockdown and had shared several pictures from their time at home.
