Aashka Goradia gets engaged to American boyfriend Brent Goble in a traditional ceremony!

Popular television actress Aashka Goradia revealed a few days ago via an Instagram post that she will be getting married to her American boyfriend Brent Goble on December 3, this year. The duo got engaged in a hush-hush ceremony on Christmas Eve, last year.

Brent proposed Aashka with a diamond ring on Christmas eve when she was vacationing with him and his family in the US. He went down on his knees and asked her to marry him in front of his entire family. The two have been dating each other since then.

And looks like the pre-wedding festivities has already begun as the couple again got engaged in a traditional Indian style in a hush hush ceremony on Thursday evening.

And this time it was Aashka Goradia who went down on one knee for Brent. The television actor and her fiance Brent Goble got engaged again in the presence of friends and family. The ceremony took place in Oshiwara at Aashka’s close friend Pompy’s house.

Popular TV actresses and Aashka’s co-star from ‘Naagin’ Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan, Karanvir Bohra and Sana Khan graced the event to bless the couple.

Aashka and Brent twinned in Blue for their engagement. Aashka looked every bit gorgeous as she flaunted her banna-banni mehendi design.

The dapper groom-to-be Brent Goble was twining with her lady love for their special day.

 Both Aashka and Brent are quite religious and perhaps that’s why they decided to get engaged during the time when the entire North India is celebrating HariyaliTeej.  

The couple’s friend took to their Instagram stories to upload pictures from the event.

Talking about her marriage plans Aashka said “Brent wanted a wedding replete with all the rituals, which seemed possible only in my hometown. Another reason is that I have so many memories associated with the city. I have spent 16 years of my life in Ahmedabad and Gujarat is extremely rich, culturally. I am sure my in-laws will enjoy the traditional garba, Gujarati delicacies and the hospitality in my hometown.”

Aashka added that the wedding location was decided by Brent and he’s a big fan of Gujarati cuisine. “Having the wedding in Ahmedabad was Brent’s idea as he had attended my cousin’s shaadi in the city. And yes, he is a big fan of Gujarati cuisine and he loves aam ras, theplas and khaman dhokla. It’s a classic case of American ban gaya Gujarati!” she told TOI.
