Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi can have a sigh of relief as Bandra Metropolitan court has acquitted him in 2015 assault case.
Aditya was charged for allegedly assaulting a nightclub bouncer in 2015. Following which, he got bail after paying up Rs 50,000.
The reason the verdict came in his favour was apparently due to lack of enough evidence to prove the assault. The two charges on him have been subsequently dropped.

According to a report in DNA, the charges under section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) and section 504 (intentional insult) filed by Santacruz, were dropped by the court yesterday.
In March 2015, Pancholi, who was accompanied by his friend at a nightclub in Juhu allegedly assaulted a bouncer of the club with his cell phone. He was arrested and a case was registered against him. But he was released on cash bail. Police reports say that Pancholi was under heavy influence of alcohol.
