However, news has arrived that the latter, “Aashiqui 2″ actor has walked out of the project.

Shedding more light on the same, a source has been quoted by a publication saying, “The film’s schedule was clashing with another project that Aditya had already committed to. He had no option but to back out.” Vashu Bhagnani who’s producing the film is said to be very supportive with Aditya’s decision.
This is not the first time the project faced a walk out; earlier it was Diljit Dosanjh who too made an exit. He was later replaced by “Pyaar Ka Punchnama” fame Kartik Aaryan.

The Wizcraft production will put the spotlight on the incidents that occur behind the stage at the coveted International Indian Film Awards (IIFA). The film will also bring the masterminds, who create the show, to the fore. Wizcraft makes its Bollywood debut with this production.

Aditya Roy Kapur, until recently considered a hot contender for the top spots alongside Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Arjun Kapoor, seems to have lost valuable ground after the back-to-back failure of three of his purported biggies Yash Raj Films’ “Daawat-e-Ishq”, Abhishek Kapoor’s “Fitoor” and most recent Shaad Ali’s “Ok Jaanu”.

But the really bad news for Aditya is that he has been dropped from Karan Johar’s prestigious remake of the Hollywood blockbuster “The Fault In Our Stars”. Karan had zeroed in on Aditya and his blue-eyed girl Alia Bhatt to play the two terminally ill lovers in the remake. But now we hear Karan is looking at another leading man with Alia Bhatt.

Sonakshi Sinha will next be seen in Ittefaq, co-starring Sidharth Malhotra, while Kartik was last seen in “Guest Iin London”.
