After the arrest of gangster Sampat Nehra, Salman Khan receives extra security!

The Haryana Police has finally arrested most wanted gangster Sampat Nehra of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang from Hyderabad. Nehra had threatened to kill Salman Khan in January when the trials of his Blackbuck Case were still going on.

So now with the news of his arrest, Mumbai police has tightens the security outside Salman Khan’s house Galaxy Apartment.

The actor’s father Salim Khan says the family is unfazed by the developments. While talking to Mid-day, Salim Khan said, “There is added security for Salman, who has, in any case, always had a good team of security personnel deployed for him. It [threat] is not much of a concern [for the family]. We are only worried about his safety, and that is being taken care of. We have faith in the Mumbai police, and they are doing their job well.”

“This is not the first time that Salman has encountered threats. Everyone is concerned about safety, but work can’t stop.” he added.

A senior police official from Mumbai Police confirmed that they have beefed up police cover around Salman Khan’s home in Bandra west. In a statement, he said, “We have enhanced the overall security of Salman Khan. Police will be present around his apartment to make sure no nefarious activity is done by the gang from Rajasthan.”

The official also added that no personal bodyguards have been provided to the star as yet as they are still assessing the threat perception.

For those who don’t know, In the first week of May, Sampat Nehra was in Mumbai and surveyed the house of Salman Khan and the time when he comes out in the balcony of his house to wave to his fans. He tried to find out the distance to the balcony and had even taken few photographs of the house.

The gangster has more than 20 cases of attempt to murder, carjacking, extortion, snatching and under Arms Act in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Rajasthan.

Nehra and his gang were involved in the attempted murder of an INLD leader’s brother, demanding a ransom of Rs. 3 crore from a businessman in Chandigarh, opening fire at a police team to free their associate Deepak from police custody and killing a man after looting his SUV at gun point in Kurukshetra.
