After the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), now All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) announced a complete ban on Pakistani actors and artistes working in the Indian film industry.
AICWA puts a total ban on Pakistani artistes
They have released a statement that reads as, “All Indian Cine Workers Association strongly condemns brutal terrorist attack on our soldiers at Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir. Our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. AICWA stands with nation in confronting such terror and inhumanity. We’re officially announcing a total ban on Pakistani Actors and Artists working in Film Industry. Still if any organisation insist on working with Pakistani Artists will be banned by AICWA and a strong action will be taken against them. Nation comes first, we stand with our nation.”

Earlier, even the Federation of Western India Cine Employees made an announcement regarding the ban on the Pakistani artistes. “The federation won’t allow Pakistani artistes to work in Indian films. Also, we won’t let producers release their films in Pakistan. The entire trade (with Pakistan) will be called off as far as the film industry is concerned,” FWICE chief advisor Ashoke Pandit told news agency IANS.
