Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi was supposed to clash with Salman Khan starrer Inshallah on Eid 2020.
But, the clash has been averted as Rohit Shetty, director of Soorvyanshi has decided to shift the release date of his film to March 27, 2020.
Salman took to social media to announce the development. He posted a lovely picture of himself posing with Rohit Shetty and called him ‘younger brother’. The actor wrote, “I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it… @itsrohitshetty Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March, 2020.” (sic)

However, this didn’t goes well down with Akshay Kumar’s fans and they express their anger on their social media accounts.
Soon trends like #BhagodaRohitShetty and #SameOnRohitShetty started trending over social media. Some even asked people to boycott ‘Sooryavanshi’.
Responding to the ‘negative trends’ generating around Sooryavanshi, now Akshay Kumar urged his fans to stay away from propagating such opinions.

He took to Twitter and wrote, “Since the past few days I’ve noticed certain negative trends being done by people dearest to me…you guys. I can see and understand your angst, all I can do is request you all with folded hands not to start/participate in such trends. I took up Sooryavanshi with a very positive outlook, let’s continue making and releasing it in the same way.”

This is the first time that Akshay has collaborated with Rohit for a project, where he will be seen as a cop and is set to share screen space with Katrina Kaif.
